 AKC Havanese Puppies "The Real Cuban Breed"

Havanese dogs, Havanese puppies as we know today was originally brought to Cuba from the Mediterranean for the royalty and rich elite of Cuba. Today they enjoy the title of the National dog of Cuba. They are also referred to as the Bichon Havanese, BichonHabaneros, or as the Havana Silk Dog. Their loving temperaments make them one of the most enjoyable dogs to own. They are very trainable and display their love of life every day.

Raising The Standard

As a havanese breeder we believe in raising our havanese puppies to the AKC Standard. We breed for correct conformation and temperament in all our havanese puppies. Never sacrificing to new fads.

Havanese Puppies / Hand Rasied

Our Havanese puppies are socialized very early. Starting at birth we assist the mother during whelping to make sure our havanese puppies are the best they can be. After 2 weeks, just about the time their eyes are opening they have already learned who we are through touch, feel and smell. At 4 weeks of age our pups get their first taste of dog food. Now they are ready for a little more room and are given more space in the kitchen. Here they learn from our older Havanese as well as our family members how to get along.

No Kennel

All of our Havanese dogs are raised in our home and never in a kennel. Havanese puppies and adult dogs are a very loving toy breed and need the closeness of the family. We have found that early socialization is the key to a loving and happy Havanese puppies.

Temperament

Havanese puppies are loving and happy go lucky dogs. They do very well with other dogs, pets and especially with children. They also are great for apartment or condos.

Size

Havanese puppies grow to ranging in six from 8 1/2" to 11 1/2" in height at the withers. They can vary in weight from 7 lbs to 13 lbs.

Colors

Havanese puppies come in all colors. Black, silver, white, red, gold, chocolate, cream and white. Havanese puppies are also found having parti colors as well as sables. All colors are acceptable to the AKC.
